“You will notice we say Brother and Sister ‘round here, because we’re a family, the family of God.” That’s exactly what Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church is… a big family. We love each other and that love is shown on a daily basis. Whether you are going through a tough time or celebrating a special time in your life, the people at TRMBC will be there to share that time with you and assist in ANY capacity necessary.

You’ve heard the saying, “The family that prays together, stays together.” This is a praying family. Many of our folks have been a part of Twin Rivers since it was established and have gone on to raise their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren here too! Some God has lead to other places and others God lead here to extend our family in worship. Most of the people that experience God’s love at Twin Rivers come to stay! We ARE a group of praying people. Our prayer list is quite extensive and we take great responsibility in praying for each and every name on that list. It’s an unmeasured blessing when God answers those prayers and names are removed!

Our facilities are located on some of the most beautiful property around. As you drive up the small hill to the church grounds you are greeted by oak trees, pine trees, azaleas, and a beautiful lawn that’s always kept. Located directly behind the church building is the cemetery that is also always kept looking nice. To the right of the building is our social hall where we love to fellowship over good Southern cookin’!
Under a shady area next to the social hall is a playground for the little ones, a basket ball goal and volley ball court for the youth and young at heart. Behind the social is a newly refurbished softball field we love to play on, even though we are far from professionals! The flowers blooming, the birds singing, it’s all a reminder of God’s love and grace when you see His beauty on the grounds of TRMBC.

As it was noted, we are a family around here. We aren’t “fancy folks”.
If you look close, you may even see a few kids running around barefoot.
Suits and ties are not common practice here. As the song says, “Just as I am”, we accept people “just as they are.” We are a bunch of country people who love to help others, fellowship, and worship our Lord Jesus Christ … and not just on Sunday. We love new additions to our family! So bring your family to meet ours. Let us make you feel at home as we worship the Lord together!
